Rackspace and Straits Interactive Launch AI DPO Assistant Collaboration

Rackspace Technology, a leading hybrid multi-cloud technology solutions company, has joined forces with Straits Interactive, a data protection and governance service leader, to launch an AI Data Protection Officer (DPO) Assistant through Foundry for AI by Rackspace (FAIR) on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. This collaboration aims to promote the responsible use of AI by integrating Rackspace Technology’s multicloud solutions with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Generative Service.

Their joint offerings will incorporate AI-enabled multicloud solutions, integrating Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Purview for data governance. These solutions empower organizations to leverage generative AI for business transformation.

Rackspace and the AI DPO Assistant

“Straits Interactive required an AI solution that could understand queries in natural language and provide concise, accurate responses, allowing employees to access data privacy information instantly,” says Srini Koushik, President of Technology and Sustainability, Rackspace Technology.

The AI DPO Assistant, one of the first in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, is a chatbot driven by generative AI, part of Straits Interactive’s Capabara platform, a proprietary Capability-as-a-Service. This platform provides organizations with a comprehensive solution to develop, govern, and manage digital transformation goals while ensuring the responsible use of generative AI.
