US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that President Donald Trump may attend the 47th ASEAN Summit in October, with discussions ongoing to finalise the date for the ASEAN–US Special Summit. Rubio, in Kuala Lumpur for the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, was received by Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
