In July 2024, Proton achieved its highest monthly sales since September 2022, with 15,103 units sold, marking a 37.3% increase from June.

The Proton Saga led the growth, achieving its best monthly sales in over a decade with 7,855 units sold. This strong performance brought the year-to-date (YTD) total to 88,799 units.

The Proton X50, Persona, and S70 also posted their best sales months of the year, contributing to Proton’s estimated market share of 20.5% in July. The company looks forward to a productive second half of the year, with plans to launch the 2025 Proton X70 and its first electric vehicle (EV).
