KUCHING, 30 AUGUST 2025 – The Initial M Media SIM Racing Grand Prix 2025 Finals at Metadise Sim Racing brought together seven Sarawak media teams in a thrilling showcase of digital motorsport. More than just a race, the event highlighted e-sim racing’s potential to position Sarawak as a hub for esports talent and innovation.
Organised by Metadise Electronic Sports Club (MESC), the competition underscored sim racing’s growing role in uniting communities, building talent, and inspiring future athletes. Media participation extended the reach of esports, reshaping public perception and demonstrating its discipline, strategy, and innovation.
MESC’s flagship “Virtual to Reality (V2R)” initiative was also introduced, bridging virtual circuits with real-world motorsport opportunities. By transforming esports into a viable pathway for careers in motorsports, engineering, and technology, the program aims to empower youth while strengthening Sarawak’s digital sports ecosystem.
The Grand Prix sets the stage for an annual tradition, driving camaraderie, innovation, and future-ready growth.
