Scoot adds three weekly Guiyang flights while increasing frequencies across key Asia-Pacific destinations to meet year-end travel demand.
Scoot Expands Regional Flight Capacity
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is expanding its China network with the launch of three-times-weekly flights to Guiyang from 26 October 2026, while increasing frequencies across several Asia-Pacific destinations ahead of the year-end holiday season.
The new Guiyang service will be operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft, connecting travellers from Malaysia to the capital of Guizhou province via Singapore Changi Airport. One-way Economy Class fares start from MYR399, inclusive of taxes.
Guiyang is known for its ethnic minority cultures, mountainous landscapes and green spaces. Key attractions include Qingyan Ancient Town and Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia’s largest waterfalls.
Following the launch, Scoot will operate 81 weekly flights to 16 cities in mainland China. Its overall network will expand to 86 destinations across 18 countries and territories spanning the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
The airline will also raise frequencies to meet anticipated year-end demand. Hat Yai services will increase from 12 to 14 weekly, while Phuket flights will rise from 17 to 21 weekly. Clark will increase from seven to 10 weekly flights from December, and Kota Kinabalu from 10 to 13 weekly from January 2027.
Okinawa services will rise from four to five weekly, while Tiruchirappalli will increase from 12 to 14 weekly from December. Phu Quoc will retain daily flights while gradually transitioning to Airbus A320 family aircraft.
