Scoot Bolsters Fleet With 11 Airbus A320neo
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is pleased to announce a significant boost to its fleet with an order for 11 additional Airbus A320neo family aircraft. This strategic investment underscores Scoot’s commitment to meeting growing travel demand and enhancing connectivity across its network.
The new aircraft, comprising five firm orders and six additional units from exercised options, will be progressively delivered from 2028.
Equipped with the latest fuel-efficient technology, these aircraft will support Scoot’s long-term growth plans while offering customers more seamless and sustainable travel options.
With increased capacity and improved route flexibility, Scoot will be better positioned to expand its network within a five- to six-hour radius from Singapore, opening new destinations and strengthening connections across Southeast Asia, North Asia and beyond. This expansion also reinforces Singapore’s position as a leading global aviation hub.
