3,000 Singapore MSMEs to be empowered with practical AI adoption through the AIM ASEAN Programme.
Up to 3,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises in Singapore will receive free AI training under the AIM ASEAN Programme, a regional initiative led by the ASEAN Foundation and AVPN with support from Google.org and the Asian Development Bank. The programme aims to help small businesses strengthen digital readiness by offering practical, hands-on AI education tailored for non-technical business owners.
Delivered in hybrid format, the training covers real-world applications of AI in marketing, customer engagement, operations, and decision-making. Project Asia Data serves as the implementing partner for Singapore, following the official launch at AIMX Singapore 2025.
The initiative forms part of a wider effort to equip 100,000 MSMEs across all ASEAN member states with AI capabilities, supporting the region’s goal of building an inclusive and digitally connected economy by 2045. Policymakers and experts will also be engaged to strengthen the ecosystem needed for MSMEs to scale in the AI era.
