The company achieved SBTi-approved, science-based targets aligned with the UN Global Compact, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050. In 2024, SML expanded to over 25 production sites across 20+ countries, reported robust revenue growth, and won the “In-Store Technology of the Year” at the 2024 Retail Systems Awards for its RFID innovation. Key ESG milestones include diverting 92.7% of waste from landfills, incorporating sustainable elements in 57.7% of products, and maintaining a strong safety record (TRIR 0.30). SML’s EcoInspireTM range and Digital Product Passports support transparency and regulatory compliance. Looking to 2025, SML aims to increase sustainable products to 90% and reduce emissions by 42%.
