Silverlake Axis Ltd (SAL), a leading fintech and digital banking solutions provider, has named Anil Singh Gill as its Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), solidifying its commitment to sustainable growth. Gill, previously the Group Chief Risk Officer, brings over 20 years of banking experience and will integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into SAL’s framework.
SAL’s ethos of sustainable practices is evident in its recent E-waste Policy establishment, outlining responsible e-waste management. Gill’s appointment marks a strategic step in integrating ESG into SAL’s risk management system.
In his role, Gill will lead SAL’s sustainability endeavors, working closely with leadership to align ESG goals with business objectives. Reporting to SAL’s Group Managing Director, Andrew Tan, Gill will spearhead sustainability strategies contributing to community development.
Expressing enthusiasm for advancing SAL’s ESG objectives, Gill aims to embed sustainability into decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with banking industry ESG landscapes. This appointment reinforces SAL’s commitment to long-term responsible value creation through sustainable initiatives.
