Sonal Malik appointed first female GM of Le Méridien Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: Le Méridien Putrajaya has appointed Sonal Malik as General Manager effective 2 September 2025, marking a significant milestone for women in Malaysian hospitality leadership.

With over two decades of experience across India, Thailand and Indonesia, Malik most recently led Aloft South Jakarta to Marriott International’s 2024 Associate Excellence award for Most Improved Leadership Excellence.

Her career highlights include launching Courtyard by Marriott Chennai in 2005 and driving performance at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket.
