KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer SP Setia Bhd has teamed up with Japan’s Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd to jointly develop a RM1.3 billion residential project within its flagship Setia EcoHill township in Semenyih.
The joint venture company, Setia MF EcoHill Sdn Bhd, will undertake the 45.7ha freehold project comprising 683 bungalows, semi-detached and cluster homes, with phased launches starting in 2026.
SP Setia president and CEO Datuk Zaini Yusoff said the collaboration marks another milestone in its partnership with Japan’s top developer after their first venture in Setia Federal Hill last year. Mitsui Fudosan Malaysia managing director Masayoshi Saito said this marks the group’s first landed housing project in Malaysia.
