Stratus Global Eyes Growth Through Semiconductor Automation Expansion

Infomina secures a RM21.1 million JPJ contract, boosting recurring income visibility and strengthening its public sector presence.

Stratus Global expects sustained growth from expanding semiconductor automation demand, hybrid AMHS adoption, capacity expansion and stronger participation across front-end and back-end semiconductor manufacturing markets globally.

Stratus Global Expands Automation Reach

Stratus Global Holdings Bhd is strengthening its position as a one-stop provider of turnkey automated material handling system (AMHS) solutions, supported by rising demand for semiconductor factory automation and long-term industry expansion.

The company specialises in the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of cleanroom AMHS solutions used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Its product portfolio includes conveyor-based AMHS, hybrid AMHS and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), serving both front-end wafer fabrication plants and back-end semiconductor production facilities

Analysts have assigned the company a fair value of RM1.72 per share based on a price-to-earnings ratio of 30 times its forecast FY2028 earnings per share.

The valuation reflects a discount of about 30% compared with the weighted average price-to-earnings ratio of regional peers, taking into account the company’s relatively smaller scale, customer concentration and significant exposure to the semiconductor industry.

Despite these factors, Stratus is expected to deliver strong earnings growth over the next three years, with analysts projecting a compound annual growth rate of approximately 15%.

The growth outlook is supported by increasing global spending on front-end wafer fabrication equipment, continued expansion into the back-end semiconductor market and rising adoption of the company’s hybrid AMHS solutions, which combine the advantages of multiple automation technologies.

Looking ahead, Stratus also plans to expand its production capacity in phases over the coming years, positioning the company to capture growing opportunities from the global semiconductor industry’s continued investment in advanced manufacturing and automation technologies.
