Sunway Property Appoints Chung Soo Kiong as Managing Director

Sunway Property, the property arm of Sunway Group, has named Chung Soo Kiong as its new Managing Director, succeeding Datin Paduka Sarena Cheah, who recently assumed the role of Sunway Group Executive Deputy Chair.

Chung – 20 years of experience

Chung, with over 20 years of experience in property development and construction, previously led Sunway Property’s International division, driving key projects in Singapore and China. In his new role, he will oversee the division’s domestic and international growth.

Supporting Chung are Chong Sau Min, CEO of Sunway Property (Central & Northern Region), and Gerard Soosay, CEO of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri.

Global expansion

Cheah, now focusing on global expansion and the development of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, expressed confidence in Chung’s leadership.

Additionally, Sunway Group welcomed Datuk Mohd Anuar Bin Taib as Deputy President, tasked with overseeing key divisions, including property, malls, and healthcare, further strengthening the Group’s leadership team.
