Tourism Malaysia, Vietjet Ink MoU to Boost Travel Between Malaysia and Vietnam

Tourism Malaysia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietjet Air to enhance air connectivity and promote tourism between Malaysia and Vietnam. The agreement, sealed during the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 launch in Hanoi, aims to attract over one million tourist arrivals annually. Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing highlighted strong bilateral ties and called for deeper regional collaboration in sustainable tourism. He encouraged visitors to explore Malaysia and even consider settling there, saying, “Malaysia welcomes you with open arms!”
