TP-Link Malaysia partners Freshtel Internet to deploy WiFi 7 tri-band mesh solutions, enhancing in-home connectivity performance while preparing Malaysian households and service providers for future, high-demand digital usage needs.
TP-Link Malaysia has formalised a strategic partnership with Freshtel Internet, marking a notable step in Malaysia’s push toward stronger, more reliable in-home connectivity. The collaboration sees Freshtel integrate TP-Link’s HB610 WiFi 7 tri-band whole home mesh into its broadband offerings, positioning the provider among the earliest adopters of WiFi 7 tri-band technology locally.
The HB610 differentiates itself through its inclusion of the 6GHz band, designed to ease network congestion and deliver smoother performance in homes with growing numbers of connected devices. This is increasingly critical as households rely on bandwidth-heavy applications for work, entertainment, and smart home use.
Executives from both companies emphasised that in-home WiFi quality is now as important as access speed. Beyond residential use, the partnership also opens pathways for centrally managed networking via TP-Link’s Omada platform, supporting future deployments in multi-unit residences and hospitality environments across Malaysia, as demand for stable connectivity continues to accelerate nationwide.
