Trip.com Group and Visa have formed a strategic partnership to deliver personalized travel experiences, seamless payments, exclusive offers, and enhanced travel opportunities for consumers across Asia Pacific.
Trip.com Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Visa to strengthen travel experiences for consumers across the Asia Pacific region. The strategic collaboration combines Trip.com Group’s extensive travel ecosystem with Visa’s global digital payments network to provide travelers with personalized recommendations, exclusive offers, and seamless payment experiences throughout their journeys.
As part of the agreement, Trip.com Group will become a global Anchor Partner for Visa Destinations, an experience-led platform designed to connect cardholders with curated travel experiences inspired by local culture and insights. The partnership will allow travelers to access tailored benefits and promotions while planning trips around their personal interests and passions.
The collaboration will also include joint marketing initiatives in selected markets, including Malaysia, to encourage travel and help consumers discover new destinations worldwide. Both companies are exploring opportunities to serve growing travel segments across Asia Pacific, including premium travel offerings for affluent consumers and exclusive benefits for Visa Infinite cardholders.
The partnership comes as travel demand across the region continues to rise. Visa’s Global Travel Intentions 2026 study found that most travelers in Asia Pacific plan to travel within the region, with digital payments and online travel research becoming increasingly important. The collaboration aims to meet these evolving preferences while creating more rewarding and convenient travel experiences.
