Held at SK Saujana Putra in Jenjarom, Selangor, the program integrates sustainable farming, environmental conservation, and hands-on education to promote food security. A key highlight is the installation of six solar-powered hydroponic systems, designed not only to provide fresh produce but also to serve as “living classrooms” where students gain practical exposure to sustainable agriculture.
Tune Protect Chief Strategy Officer Koot Chiew Ling said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to long-term community impact. “Grow & Give is more than short-term volunteerism; it is an investment in future generations. By equipping students with knowledge and practical skills, we hope to inspire resilience and sustainable habits,” she explained.

Sunway XFarms CEO Mohd Afdhal Mohd Nayan added that giving students direct experience with hydroponics helps them understand innovative farming methods and their role in food security. Complementary workshops such as Farming Made Fun introduced students, including those in special education programs, to microgreens and hydroponics.
The initiative involves 180 Tune Protect employees, contributing toward the Group’s pledge of 6,000 volunteer hours between 2025 and 2027.
