UMW Toyota Motor Sustains October Growth, Strengthens Multi-Pathway Commitment

SHAH ALAM – UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) reported sales of 9,141 units in October 2025, bringing year-to-date deliveries to 79,559. The strong performance reflects steady market confidence in Toyota’s reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction. President Datuk Ravindran K. said Toyota’s “Mobility for All” vision continues to guide its strategy, balancing local relevance with global innovation.

At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Toyota unveiled a three-year regional roadmap focused on carbon neutrality, safety, and inclusive mobility. Highlights include plans for 10 new electrified models, battery-electric vehicle production in Thailand and Indonesia by end-2025, and a “30 by 30 Mission” targeting 30% xEV sales in ASEAN by 2030.

Toyota also introduced the Land Cruiser FJ Concept and showcased initiatives integrating vehicles, energy, and data to build low-carbon ecosystems. Locally, UMWT announced rebates up to RM8,000 on selected models, reinforcing its long-term commitment to innovation, resilience, and sustainable mobility in Malaysia.
