YTL Cement partners with Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) to launch the first Concrete Awards, celebrating excellence in concrete architecture. The initiative highlights the versatility of concrete, recognizing outstanding achievements in design, innovation, and sustainability. Featuring five key categories, submissions will be judged by a panel of distinguished jurors. This collaboration aims to promote sustainable building practices and encourage creativity in architectural design using concrete.
Rachel Yeoh, Executive Director at YTL Cement, commented, “YTL Cement remains steadfast in our commitment to concrete being a sustainable building material, backed by innovation and continued development. The Concrete Awards is an apt opportunity to celebrate the many uses of concrete by recognising architects who push the boundaries of design and those that embrace the versatility of the material with ingenuity.”
