Canon and Tourism Perak
Canon Marketing Malaysia has forged a significant partnership with Tourism Perak Management Berhad (TPMB) for the ‘Visit Perak Year 2024’ campaign. The MOU, witnessed by YB Loh Sze Yee, State Exco Tourism, Industry, Investment & Corridor Development Of Perak, signifies Canon’s commitment as a strategic partner and sponsor to bolster Perak’s tourism industry.
The collaboration aims to leverage Canon’s imaging solutions to promote Perak as a premier destination for heritage and nature-based experiences. Beyond sponsorship, the partnership involves joint efforts in workshops, competitions, and the provision of Canon cameras as prizes, aligning with Canon’s corporate philosophy of ‘Kyosei’—working harmoniously for the common good.
Spanning 12 months, the MOU focuses on stimulating creativity through photography and videography competitions and tailored workshops. The goal is to illuminate Perak’s rich cultural heritage and attractions through visual storytelling, fostering a deeper appreciation among audiences.
The alliance between Canon and TPMB is poised to revitalize Perak’s tourism sector, inviting travelers to discover the state’s hidden gems. Those interested in participating can find more information about upcoming workshops, events, and competitions related to the ‘Visit Perak Year 2024’ campaign on Canon Malaysia’s official social media pages or the my.canon website.
“This collaboration signifies a unified effort to promote Perak’s beauty. Together with Canon, we aim to captivate audiences worldwide and invite travellers to experience the treasures Perak has to offer”, says Nurmalis Musa, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak Management Berhad.
