CCC-ECRL honored 18 local vendors with the Award of Excellence for their outstanding contributions

China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd (CCC-ECRL), the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) Contractor of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, has recognised 18 outstanding local vendors with the Award of Excellence 2024.

Local Vendors

This award celebrates the invaluable contributions of local subcontractors and consultants who have demonstrated exceptional performance in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality assurance, project execution, and resource efficiency.

Now in its fifth year, the award underscores the crucial role of local expertise in shaping Malaysia’s largest rail infrastructure project. As of February 2025, the ECRL has achieved 79.95% completion, marking a significant transition from underground works to large-scale above-ground construction and system installation. This milestone brings the project closer to its targeted completion in 2027.
