PETALING JAYA, Oct 25 — CelcomDigi Berhad, through its Arena CelcomDigi platform, has launched the CelcomDigi Kids Football Clinic to inspire children through football and foster active lifestyles. The initiative, supported by the Youth and Sports Ministry, DBKL, and YFA Red Star Academy, targets children aged 12 and below, offering structured, inclusive training sessions led by licensed coaches.
Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said the collaboration reflects the power of public-private partnerships in promoting grassroots sports and youth development. CelcomDigi Chief Transformation Officer Datuk Kamal Khalid said the programme aims to make football accessible while strengthening community bonds.
Held weekly at Taman Rimba Kiara, the clinic currently engages around 70 children and focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. The initiative is part of Arena CelcomDigi’s broader effort to build a sustainable sporting ecosystem across Malaysia.
