Cisco Research Highlights Urgent Infrastructure Shift Amid AI Surge

Cisco’s latest global study reveals that 96% of Malaysian IT leaders view modernized networks as vital for deploying AI, IoT, and cloud technologies. Amid rising digital demands, outages caused by cyberattacks, congestion, and misconfiguration cost businesses up to $160 billion globally each year. In response, 91% of leaders are increasing network investments, with 97% expecting cost savings and 91% anticipating revenue growth from smarter, more adaptive infrastructure. While AI intensifies the strain on networks, it also offers solutions. However, only 45% have adopted intelligent capabilities. The C-suite is backing IT leaders to drive this strategic transformation.
