Deloitte Malaysia unveils the best managed companies

Deloitte Malaysia recently announced the winners of the 2024 Malaysia Best Managed Companies awards at an event held on August 22, 2024, at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. This annual program, now in its fourth year, honors ten outstanding private businesses in Malaysia for their exceptional organizational performance and significant contributions to their respective industries and the broader economy.

To qualify for the Best Managed Companies title, businesses undergo a rigorous evaluation process led by a panel of independent, multi-disciplinary judges. The assessment focuses on four key pillars: strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, and governance and financials.

This year’s panel of judges included prominent figures such as YAM Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, Chairman of Taliworks; Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim, President and Chief Executive of Johor Corporation; Mohd Rashid Mohamad, Group Managing Director & Group CEO of RHB Banking Group; Rohaya Mohammad Yusof, Chief Investment Officer of Employees Provident Fund (EPF); and Rashyid Redza Anwarudin, Chief Sustainability Officer of SD Guthrie Berhad.
