Filtrona Advances ESG Goals with Measurable Sustainability Performance in 2025

Singapore, May 12 — Filtrona has strengthened its sustainability agenda in 2025, marking a transition from ESG commitments to measurable operational performance across its global business.

The specialty filter solutions manufacturer reported a 51% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions in line with its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-validated goals. The company also achieved zero waste to landfill across all sites, excluding regulated hazardous waste streams where applicable.

Filtrona said 24% of its product portfolio now consists of sustainable or plastic-free solutions, while 88% of wood-based materials are sourced from certified or controlled suppliers under FSC and PEFC standards.

The company further reported 29% female representation in leadership and management positions, with employees receiving an average of 36 training hours annually. Filtrona also maintained EcoVadis Gold status and secured a B rating from CDP for climate, forests and water security disclosures.
