Fortinet Expands Its Universal SASE Offering

Fortinet, a global cybersecurity leader, has expanded its Universal Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offering to enhance support for today’s hybrid workforce.

The company’s FortiOS operating system can now manage all SASE functions, including firewall, SD-WAN, secure web gateway, encryption/decryption, CASB, DLP, and ZTNA, either through appliance or cloud-based delivery.

Universal SASE

This approach allows for the centralized management of more than 30 converged networking and security functions through a single console, with 14 functions accelerated when deployed on the FortiGate 120G SASE appliance. Fortinet’s Universal SASE ensures consistent policies and controls for on-prem and cloud deployments while supporting a seamless hybrid workforce.

This expansion also includes over 100 global FortiSASE cloud locations and a new SASE appliance for campus and branch locations, offering accelerated security features.
