Huawei Crowns Winners of 10th ICT Competition APAC in Jakarta

JAKARTA, 20 May 2026 — The 10th Huawei ICT Competition APAC Finals and Awards Ceremony concluded at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, celebrating top student talent across the region. Organized by Huawei and co-hosted by the ASEAN Foundation, the competition attracted over 8,600 students from 14 countries and regions, with more than 160 advancing to the finals. Participants competed in the Practice Competition — covering cloud, network, and computing tracks — as well as the Innovation Competition.

The ceremony was attended by ASEAN Secretary-General H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, senior Indonesian officials, ambassadors, and representatives from ASEAN member states, highlighting the event’s regional significance. Huawei emphasized its commitment to nurturing digital talent and strengthening ICT ecosystems across Asia-Pacific.

The competition, now in its 10th year, continues to serve as a platform for students to showcase skills, foster innovation, and drive collaboration in advancing digital transformation across the region.
