The goal is to drive innovation and ensure the x86 architecture remains at the forefront of computing. The group aims to simplify software development, enhance compatibility, and support emerging technologies like AI and 3D packaging.

Other founding members include Broadcom, Dell, Google, HPE, HP Inc., Lenovo, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle, and Red Hat. These companies will collaborate to shape the future of the x86 architecture, ensuring its evolution continues to meet customer and developer needs.
