AmBank Research views the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) positively for its potential to attract investments and facilitate seamless movement of goods and people between Malaysia and Singapore. The JS-SEZ, spanning 3,571 sq km across six cities in Southern Johor, is expected to create 20,000 high-skilled jobs and launch 50 high-value projects in five years, benefiting sectors like logistics, technology, petrochemicals, and energy transition.
