Lagenda Properties Launches New Township In SG Petani With BDB

Kuala Lumpur, 29 August 2022 – Lagenda Properties Bhd, in hand with Bina Darulaman Bhd, carried out a groundbreaking event on their new affordable township in the heart of Sungai Petani, Kedah earlier today. The groundbreaking ceremony was led by the Menteri Besar of Kedah, YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.

The new township, aptly named Darulaman Lagenda, will see the development of more than 2,500 landed affordable homes within the heart of Sungai Petani, subsequently marking Darulaman Lagenda as the largest affordable township in Kedah. The township is geared at addressing the existing demand for affordable homes amongst the low and middle household income, with the new township also targeted towards achieving the ‘One Family One Home’ aspirations of Lagenda Properties.

“Future affordable housing development should be tailored towards townships that enable homeowners to enjoy quality and communal living experience. Lagenda Properties, with our pricing strategy and lifestyle focus, is committed to delivering our strategic and sustainable plan. With a gross development value (GDV) of RM593 million, the project will feature more than 2,500 affordable homes with the focus of the township to be on sustainable quality living. The township comprises of 3 phases with the first phase consisting of 282 units. All units will be landed homes and priced affordably below RM250,000 per unit.
