The project, located within King Salman Gate, will integrate a public bus terminal with residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, and other mixed-use components. It aims to enhance accessibility and ease movement for pilgrims and visitors, supporting RUA’s ambition to expand Makkah’s capacity.

MRCB brings its expertise from KL Sentral, Malaysia’s largest integrated transport hub, to the partnership. The collaboration also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to improve the pilgrim experience while preserving Makkah’s heritage.

MRCB said the partnership reflects growing interest from Islamic world institutions in contributing to Makkah’s long-term development, combining RUA’s master-planning role with MRCB’s transport-oriented development expertise.
