LANGKAWI, May 22 — Malaysia is well-positioned to tap into the growing space economy, leveraging its talent, resources, infrastructure, and equatorial location, said MOSTI deputy secretary-general Datuk Dr Mohd Nor Azman Hassan. Speaking at the Space Conference during LIMA 2025, he highlighted cost-saving advantages for satellite launches. The event, attended by 150 participants, including Southeast Asian space agencies and industry players, featured LOI exchanges between UZMA Bhd, SpaceIn Sdn Bhd, MYSA, and others. Organized by GEC and supported by MYSA, the conference fostered collaboration to address national and global space sector challenges.
