microLEAP Achieves 139% Growth, Expands MSME Financing Nationally

Malaysia’s P2P platform microLEAP recorded a 139% year-on-year growth in Q2 2025, disbursing RM55 million across 70 investment notes, with 69 Shariah-compliant. Average investor returns reached 16.8% p.a., while its default rate remained low at 0.40% compared to the market average of 4.18%. The company expanded its offices to Kelantan, Kota Bharu, and Muar to improve financing access for MSMEs outside urban centres. Founder and CEO Tunku Danny Nasaifuddin Mudzaffar said microLEAP will continue its regional growth into Indonesia and the Philippines, offering ethical, Shariah-compliant financing to bridge MSME funding gaps sustainably.
