KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Pavilion REIT Malls are marking Deepavali with a month-long celebration of light, culture, and unity at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and Intermark Mall. Themed Diya Deepavali, the festivities honour the triumph of light over darkness through spectacular cultural performances, intricate kolam displays, and culinary experiences inspired by India’s rich traditions. The launch at Pavilion KL was officiated by Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director-General of Tourism Malaysia, and featured a grand performance by India’s Anhad Studio.
Visitors can admire the majestic Mughal Princess Kolam installation and enjoy the Indian Cultural Extravaganza hosted by Barbeque Nation, featuring puppet theatre, live music, and craft workshops. Food lovers can also savour regional Indian flavours at the Grand Trunk Road Food Festival, running until 26 October. The celebration showcases Malaysia’s multicultural harmony and Pavilion REIT’s commitment to uniting communities through art, culture, and cuisine.
