PNB Appoints Rizal Rickman Ramli as New President & Group CEO

Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) has announced the appointment of Dato’ Rizal Rickman Ramli as its new President & Group Chief Executive (PGCE), effective 1 July 2026. He succeeds Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ahmad, who retires after completing his two-year contract and a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, including leadership roles at CIMB Group, Ekuinas, Media Prima, and MRCB.

PNB New CEO

Dato’ Rizal Rickman, currently Deputy PGCE, will serve as Acting PGCE until his official appointment. Since joining PNB in 2018, he has held key roles across Real Estate, Private Markets, Strategic Investments, and Investment Stewardship, before assuming group-wide oversight as Deputy PGCE. Prior to PNB, he was Malaysia’s Country Managing Partner at The Boston Consulting Group.

PNB’s Board highlighted the appointment as a testament to effective succession planning, ensuring leadership continuity as the group advances its LEAP-6 Strategic Plan. The Board also expressed gratitude to Dato’ Abdul Rahman for his invaluable contributions in strengthening PNB’s strategic focus and execution.
