PNB Declares Record RM10.4 Billion Payout for ASB at 5.75 Sen Per Unit

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 December 2025 – Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), through Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), has declared a 5.75 sen per unit income distribution for flagship Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) for the financial year ending December 31, 2025.

The RM10.4 billion payout – the highest annual since inception – benefits 11.4 million unitholders and raises cumulative distributions to RM206.7 billion. The rate offers a strong spread over the 2.29% Maybank 12-month fixed deposit benchmark.

Despite FBM KLCI’s -0.3% return amid foreign outflows, PNB’s AUM grew 4.5% to RM364 billion. ASNB added 560,000 accounts, maintaining 13 million unique holders.

President and group CEO Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad cautioned on 2026 volatility from global shifts and AI overvaluation concerns.
