RIVRS, a leading French UGC (User Generated Content) gaming company, announced a major expansion into Asia with a $1 million investment in the Roblox ecosystem. The announcement was made at Gamescom Asia in Bangkok, where RIVRS revealed the opening of a development studio in Da Nang, Vietnam, and a regional publishing headquarters in Hong Kong. The company also appointed the former Managing Director of Ubisoft Asia Pacific to head RIVRS Asia.

Roblox Investment

The $1 million “Creator Fund” will support creators and studios across Southeast Asia, focusing on game acquisition, team financing, and the development of innovative Roblox content. RIVRS Co-founder Romain Hubert said the initiative combines French expertise with regional talent to build a vibrant community of UGC developers. The move strengthens RIVRS’s global presence while empowering Asian creators to design world-class gaming experiences for a rapidly growing market of 380 million Roblox users.
