Solarvest Holdings Berhad, Malaysia’s largest solar EPCC player, focuses on clean energy, solar financing, and sustainability-driven growth through strategic acquisitions and government RE initiatives.
Regional clean energy solutions provider, Solarvest Holdings Berhad (Solarvest) today announced its appointment as the turnkey Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) partner for a 36MWac solar project under Malaysia’s Fifth Large Scale Solar Programme (LSS5+) in Kangar, Perlis.
The contract, valued at RM89.5 million, was awarded by Jubli Pasifik Sdn. Bhd., marking another key milestone in Solarvest’s growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Scheduled to achieve commercial operation by 26 February 2028, the project is expected to generate approximately 68,550 MWh of clean energy annually and offset around 53,058 tonnes of carbon emissions each year, supporting Malaysia’s renewable energy and decarbonisation targets.
The solar farm will feature high-efficiency N-Type photovoltaic modules, advanced engineering design, and AI-powered monitoring systems to optimise long-term performance, reliability, and energy yield.
