KLANG, Aug 27 — Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre (SKSMC) has launched Klang’s first Hybrid Operating Theatre, equipped with the Philips Azurion 7 Bi-Plane angiography system. The facility integrates advanced real-time imaging with surgical precision, allowing diagnosis and treatment in one room, reducing operating times and improving patient safety. Klang Mayor Abd. Hamid Hussain praised the initiative as a milestone for community healthcare. SKSMC Director Madam Tan Suet Guan said the innovation reflects the hospital’s mission to combine compassion with cutting-edge treatment. The project was supported by LAC Medical Supplies Sdn. Bhd.
