Discounts
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March 2024 – In a departure from the norm of online campaigns, leading online travel agency Trip.com is collaborating with Malaysia Airlines and its low-cost carrier subsidiary Firefly Airlines to offer the airlines’ passengers special promotional codes at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport), Penang International Airport, and Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
This offline campaign will see physical vouchers being given to passengers of either airline after they check in at any of the three airports, which they can use to avail themselves of promotional codes worth more than RM100 in total.

The campaign will run at all three airports, which were selected due to their popularity in the airlines’ domestic network, from now until 14 April 2024 or until the vouchers run out, whichever is sooner.
Some of the offers include RM40 off flight bookings (minimum spend of RM300), RM20 off hotel bookings (minimum spend of RM250), RM45 off tours and tickets bookings (minimum spend of RM400), and others such as discounts for airport transfers and car rentals.
Mr Edmund Ong, Senior Marketing Director (Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia), Trip.com says: “As a very technology-driven company, Trip.com has always been focused on reaching out to users online. We are delighted to partner Malaysia Airlines and Firefly Airlines on this initiative to reach out to new users who have not had the opportunity to try Trip.com’s services before, while bringing more value to their passengers. We look forward to helping more travellers plan their next trip after they check in for their coming flights.”
