Trump also floated the possibility of Vance teaming up with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, calling it a “formidable” Republican ticket. Despite continued speculation and Trump-themed “2028” merchandise, the president said he would “probably not” seek a third term. Vance has indicated he would consult Trump before making a decision.
