US warned not to cross red lines in tariff negotiations

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim asserted that Malaysia will not bow to any external pressure that could undermine national policies, especially during tariff negotiations with the United States. He emphasised that Malaysia has a “red line” in such negotiations, namely the protection of the bumiputera policy, even if it is seen as discriminatory by outsiders.
