World ID Credentials Expands Android Support in Malaysia
World Network has launched Android support for World ID Credentials in Malaysia, enhancing accessibility and security for users in its digital ecosystem. Initially introduced on iOS in select countries last year, the expansion allows users to verify their World ID with a passport, strengthening security and privacy.
The move also benefits developers, providing access to a human-verified audience and eliminating bot-driven traffic. With over 23 million participants, the platform enables seamless app distribution and onboarding.
Ajay Patel, Head of World ID at Tools for Humanity, highlighted the milestone as a step toward greater global engagement. Developers in Malaysia can now leverage Mini Apps in World App 3.0, featuring zero transaction fees and self-custodial wallets.
