CARSOME Group Inc appointed Yeoh Oon Jin to its Board as its first Independent Director, effective from 30 June 2023. Yeoh commenced as Chairman of the Group’s Audit Committee as of the same date.
Yeoh brings to the table a wealth of experience and knowledge in corporate governance, risk management, organizational strategy, people and culture, and digital transformation.

His guidance will be pivotal as CARSOME grows into the next phase of maturity and builds an effective and independent Board. Driven by its mission to deliver excellent customer experience within the used car industry, CARSOME is working towards establishing the world’s first integrated car ownership ecosystem in Southeast Asia, whilst embracing long-term sustainability through operational excellence.
Yeoh Oon Jin – a Rich career
In addition to being a Board Member at Singapore Exchange Limited, he serves as the Chairman of the Singapore Land Authority, and Vice Chairman and Audit Committee Chair at the Singapore Business Federation.
He is also a member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Beyond these corporate engagements, Yeoh serves the non-profit sector as Director and Audit Committee Chairman of the Kidney Dialysis Foundation and Independent Governor for the Lien Foundation.
