Zainani Jusoh Appointed New Accountant General of Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: Zainani Jusoh has been appointed as the new Accountant General of Malaysia, effective Sept 3, succeeding the previous incumbent who retired on Sept 2. The appointment letter was presented by Chief Secretary to the Government TS Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar in Putrajaya on Aug 27. Hailing from Tanah Merah, Kelantan, Zainani holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Universiti Putra Malaysia and is a member of MIA and MICPA. With over 30 years in public service, she played a key role in digitalising accounting systems in Malaysian embassies abroad. AGD expressed confidence in her leadership.
