Bursa closes lower on eve of holiday

Bursa Malaysia closed lower amid regional market uncertainties as the U.S. election approaches, with polls showing a tight race. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) dropped 13.20 points or 0.82% to 1,601.88, fluctuating between 1,601.45 and 1,615.36 throughout the session. Decliners outnumbered gainers 671 to 363, with 474 counters unchanged and 123 suspended.
