Canon Unveils Video-Centric Innovations to Empower Next-Gen Creators

Canon Marketing Malaysia has launched a new lineup of video-centric products on March 27, 2025, aimed at empowering content creators and hybrid shooters. The release includes the EOS R50 V, an interchangeable lens camera with a 24.2MP APS-C sensor and advanced video features like Canon Log 3 and 4K 60p recording, and the PowerShot V1, a compact camera with a 22.3MP 1.4-inch sensor designed for video and livestreaming.

Video-Centric Innovations

The lineup also features two new lenses: the RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ power zoom lens and the RF 20mm f/1.4L VCM ultra-wide-angle prime lens. These tools enhance Canon’s ecosystem, offering creators flexibility, portability, and seamless connectivity for high-quality stills and videos.
