China’s Forex Reserves Rise to $3.2853 Trillion in May 2025, Up 0.11% from April

China’s foreign exchange reserves reached US$3.2853 trillion by the end of May 2025, marking a US$3.6 billion (0.11%) increase from April, according to official data released on June 7, 2025. The State Administration of Foreign Exchange attributed the rise to currency translation and asset price changes. The statement highlighted that China’s ongoing economic recovery and improved development quality have supported the stability of these reserves. – Xinhua
