Rockwills reaches out to children from the Trinity Community Children Home Society and Shelter Home for Children because every child deserves care, dignity, and hope. The two homes care for approximately 68 children, including those with developmental challenges.
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 — Two children’s homes in Selangor caring for about 68 children have received more than 1,000 essential items through a donation drive organised by the Rockwills Group.
The campaign benefited Trinity Community Children Home Society and Shelter Home for Children, which house children including those with developmental challenges.
“Every item we’ve received will help lighten our monthly expenses and ensure the children’s daily needs are met,” said a representative from one of the homes.
The initiative was supported by Rockwills estate planners, staff, volunteers, and the public. Goods were handed over by Rockwills representatives, including Assistant General Manager Sam Chan.
Tan Mei Yin, CEO of Rockwills Corporation Sdn Bhd, said the drive showcased the power of collective action. “It is heartening to see so many individuals and groups step forward. This is what community spirit is about,” she said.
