DHL Investing RM300 million on KL Gateway facility

DHL Express has launched a new RM300 million Kuala Lumpur Gateway facility, marking its largest investment in Malaysia to date, as part of a strategy to improve connectivity across Asia.

This new facility, three times larger than its predecessor, can handle up to 10,000 shipments per hour due to a fully automated sorting system, significantly enhancing shipment processing compared to the previous 2,400 shipments per hour.

According to DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei MD Julian Neo Poh Choon, the facility will support Malaysia’s import and export activities and strengthen Malaysia’s role in global trade, connecting it with major economies like the United States, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

The launch was attended by Transport Minister Anthony Loke and other key industry figures.
